A whole book dedicated to Aviation English!

This month saw the release of a whole book dedicated to Aviation English exclusively.

Estival, D., Farris, C., & Molesworth, B (2016). Aviation English: A lingua franca for pilots and air traffic controllers (Routledge Research in English for Specific Purposes). London: Routledge.

Then I realized I had not added Farris’s Master thesis to our list yet, so here it is:

Farris, C. (2007). The effects of message length, L2 proficiency and cognitive workload on performance accuracy and speech production in a simulated pilot navigation task. (Master thesis). Concordia University, Montreal, retrieved from Spectrum.
